CAROLNA STOCKYARDS – SILER CITY, NC
(71) HEAD HOLSTEIN CATTLE – consists of cow/calf pairs, bred heifers, bred cows, (3) bulls. These cattle are mostly young cattle as Justice retired from milking approximately 6 years ago & these were heifers from the milking herd at that time. They have been wintered on hay & pasture, past 2 weeks protein tubs & well balanced minerals were added. Approximately (20) calves 250# or less. The bloodlines of these cows go back to Bill Blalock – South Hill, VA. These cows will make a good family cow or cows to raise 2 or more calves @ the time. May also work in recip program or if -U- have the grass & feed they will put weight on in a hurry – lots of room for pounds to be added. E.B. will bring to his farm & match pairs up on Wednesday. Cattle will arrive in Siler City on Thursday.
